Amigurumi Plush Pumpkin Cow Free Pattern:

HORNS
Pumpkin, make two in orange:
R1: 5sc in mr (5)
R2: 5inc (10)
R3-5 (3 rounds): 10sc (10)
Stuff the horn.
R6: 5dec (5)

Finish stuffing and FO, leaving an extra long tail. Sew closed.
Draw your needle and thread through the bottom center and out in the middle of the magic ring.
Wrap the tail around the pumpkin and insert the needle into the bottom again, pulling tight. This will make the lines that define the pumpkin. Repeat as many times as you’d like, I do this four to five times.
When you’re making your final line, insert your tail through the magic ring of the pumpkin and out at R1-2, we will sew it onto the head from here.
Sew the pumpkin horn onto the head directly above the ears.

Stem, make two in brown:
R1: ch3 (3)
R2: turn and begin in the second
chain from your hook, 2slst down the chain (2)
• FO, leaving a tail. Insert both tails into the top of the pumpkin and out at the same stitch on the head. Double knot the two ends together and hide the knot in the head of the cow.

Optional: Leaf, make two in green:
R1: leaving a tail ch3 (3)
R2: turn and begin in the second chain from your hook, slst, sc, turn and work into the other side of the chain (make sure to crochet your tail in while working on this side), slst (3)
• FO, leaving a tail. Insert both tails int the top of the pumpkin and out at the same stitch on the head. Double knot the two ends together and hide the knot in the head of the cow.

OVERALLS
I crocheted a pumpkin applique for my overalls. I did this by:
R1: create a magic ring, (4dc, slst)x2 into the magic ring (10)
• FO and leave a tail for sewing. Sew onto the middle of the bib using BLO (optional: once you’re done, take the remaining tail and draw it across the middle of the pumpkin lengthwise to create a defined line on the pumpkin). I then embroidered a stem on top. Weave in ends into the back of the bib.
Other ideas for creating a pumpkin on the overalls: felt, embroidery.
You could also leave the overalls plain!

BAG
Pumpkin, in orange:
R1: 5sc in mr (5)
R2: 5inc (10)
R3: (sc, inc)x5 (15)
R4-7 (4 rounds): 15sc (15)
R8: (sc, dec)x5 (10)
Begin to stuff the pumpkin.
R9: 5dec (5)

Finish stuffing and FO, leaving an extra long tail. Sew closed.
Draw your needle and thread through the bottom center and out in the middle of the magic ring.
Wrap the tail around the pumpkin and insert the needle into the bottom again, pulling tight.
This will make the lines that define the pumpkin. Repeat as many times as you’d like, I do this five times.
Hide the remaining end into the pumpkin.

Stem, in brown:
R1: leaving a tail, ch4 (4)
R2: turn and begin in the second chain from your hook, 3slst down the chain (3)
• FO, leaving a tail. Insert both tails into the top of the pumpkin and out at the same stitch. Double knot the two ends together and hide the knot in the pumpkin.

Optional: Leaf, in green:
R1: leaving a tail, ch4 (4)
R2: turn and begin in the second chain from your hook, sc, hdc, 2dc into the next chain, turn and work into the other sides of the chains (make sure to crochet your tail in while working on this side), hdc, sc (6)

• FO, leave a tail. Insert both tails into the top of the pumpkin and out at the same stitch. Double knot the two ends together and hide the knot in the pumpkin.

Strap, in orange:
Cut a long thread of yarn and insert it into one side of the pumpkin and out the other. Wrap the yarn with the pumpkin around the cow and tie together, making sure it fits the cow nicely. Once it fits how you’d like, double knot the two ends of yarn
together and FO. Hide the knot in the pumpkin.
