Mini Hearts Pattern

Materials needed: 
Small amount of worsted weight yarn. I use Hobby Lobby I love this cotton.
Hook size: 3.25mm (D)
Poly-fil stuffing
Yarn needle

Size: Approximately 2″ x 2″

Skill level: Beginner/Easy

Stitch abbreviations
Sc: single crochet
Inc: increase
Dec: decrease
MR: magic ring
FLO: front loops only

FO: fasten off

Pattern
Start with the top domes of the heart (make 2).
R1: In MR, sc x 6 (6)
R2: Sc inc x 6 (12)
R3-4: Sc x 12 (12)
FO the 1st dome but not the 2nd, instead continue to make the rest of the heart.
R1: Sc x 12 around the 2nd dome, then join the 1st by sc x 12 around (24)
R2: Sc x 24
R3: (Sc x 2, sc dec) x 6 (18)
R4: Sc x 18 (18)
R5: (Sc x 1, sc dec) x 6 (12)
R6: Sc x 12 (12)
Stuff the heart.
R7: Sc dec x 6 (6)
R8: (1 sc, sc dec) x 2 (4)
FO, leaving a long tail for sewing. Whip stitch FLO & pull tight to close the bottom of the heart. Pull the yarn tail up to the top and sew the hole closed between the 2 domes. Weave in end.
