Todays daily new amigurumi free crochet pattern is Amigurumi Dog.
I want to give you some informations about this pattern ;
This Amigurumi Dachshund (or Teckel amigurumi) is one of my favorite amigurmi. I have used a lot of yarn, because it is larger tan many others.
I´ve done this teckel with a yarn thicker than I normally use, and with a 2.5 mm hook. I have relied on a dog I´ve seen in Internet, and I have been guided by this pattern.
I´ve changed many things, so I put as I have done. Keep in mind that it isn´t a translation of the original.
By the way, I´ve started a blog with all the free tutorials and pattern I ´ve seen. It´s very easy to find the patterns. It´s called DIVERSIDADES; if you are interested the address is:
The teckel is made with a cotton/acrylic yarn and 2.5 mm crochet (you need a smaller crochet than that recmmended by the manufacturer of wool).. It takes two alternative colors (or more if you want to make a striped one, for example), small safety eyes, and a bit of felt to decorate.
inc = increase
dec = decrease
sc = single crochet
ss = slip stitch
ch= chain stitch
A trick that it’s simple to obtain most beautiful amigurumi is to alternate increases in the rounds. In this way the rounds are non hexagonal one.
HEAD
We started in grey.. Spiral (continuous rounds) crochet. We start with 2 chain stitches.
1.- 6 sc in second chain from the hook (6)
2.- 6 inc (12)
3.- 1 sc, 1 inc, repeat to end (18)
4-6.- 1 cs in each point (18)
7.- 1 sc, 1 dec, repeat to end (12)
Changing color, in my case to pink one:
8.- 1 sc, ainc, repeat to end (18)
9.- 1 inc, 5 sc, repeat to end (21)
10.- 6 sc, 1 inc, repeat to end (24)
11.- 1 sc in each point (24)
12.- 1 inc, 7 sc, repeat to end (27)
13.- 1 sc in each point (27)

15.- 1 sc in each point (30)
16.- 1 inc, 9 sc, repeat to end (33)
17.- 1 sc in each point (33)
18.- 10 sc, 1 inc, repeat to end (36)
19.- 1 sc in each point (36)

We finish with a long strand to hide inside the head.
I´ve done the eyes with three felt circles of different colors and sizes, because i like the effect.

I ´ve done felt circles and glued to the body (if you prefer you can crocheted them).
You,ll never guess who has been playing with PicMonkey, will you?
If you don´t like some of the proportions and want to change them, it´s just a matter of trying to increase or decrease points faster or slower.
I feel my English language is so wrong, but I hope you understand the pattern.
