Amigurumi Crochet Baby Snowman Free Pattern:

Head (using white yarn)
R1: ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6 sts)
R2: *inc* rep 6 times (12 sts)
R3: *sc 1, inc* rep 6 times (18 sts)
R4: *sc 2, inc* rep 6 times (24 sts)
R5: *sc 3, inc* rep 6 times (30 sts)
R6: *sc 4, inc* rep 6 times (36 sts)
R7-13: sc in all 36 sts (7 rounds total at 36 sts each)
R14: *sc 4, dec* rep 6 times (30 st)
R15: *sc 3, dec* rep 6 times (24 sts)
Stop now to place the eyes. Insert your 9mm safety eyes between R13 & 14, 9 sts apart. (Hint: insert the 1st eye. Count 9 sts from the hole where you inserted the 1st eye and insert the 2nd eye.)
R16: *sc 2, dec* rep 6 times (18 sts)
Stop and start to stuff the head, continuing as you work.
R17: *sc 1, dec* rep 6 times (12 sts)
R18: *dec* rep 6 times (6 sts)
Finish off. Finish stuffing the head firmly, and use the tail to sew up the hole, then weave in your end.

Nose (using orange yarn)
R1: ch 2, 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook (4 sts)
R2: *sc 1, inc* rep 2 times (6 sts)
R3: sc in all 6 sts (6 sts)
Finish off and leave a long tail for sewing. Do not stuff. Position the nose centered between the eyes and pin it into place using straight pins so that it doesn’t shift around while sewing. Sew the nose to the head using the whipstitch. When you are finished, make a knot to secure the sewing and weave the remaining tail into the head.

Body (using white yarn)
R1: ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6 sts)
R2: *inc* rep 6 times (12 sts)
R3: *sc 1, inc* rep 6 times (18 sts)
R4: *sc 2, inc* rep 6 times (24 sts)
R5-10: sc in all 24 sts (6 rounds total at 24 sts each)
R11: *sc 2, dec* rep 6 times (18 sts)

Finish off leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff firmly and sew to the bottom center of the head. Use straight pins to pin the body into place while you are sewing it on.

Hat (using color A)
R1: ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6 sts)
R2: *inc* rep 6 times (12 sts)
R3: *sc 1, inc* rep 6 times (18 sts)
R4: *sc 2, inc* rep 6 times (24 sts)
R5: *sc 3, inc* rep 6 times (30 sts)
R6: *sc 4, inc* rep 6 times (36 sts)
R7-13: sc in all 36 sts (7 rounds total at 36 sts each)
Before you finish off, make sure the hat is the right length. Depending on your gauge, you may want to make it shorter or longer. Finish off and leave a long tail for sewing and set aside.

Hatband (using color B)
The hatband is worked in rows instead of rounds
R1: ch 4, starting in 2nd ch from hook, make 1 sc in each of the 3 chs, ch 1, turn
R2-45: hdc in all 3 sts (44 rows total at 3 sts each)
Before finishing off, wrap the hatband around the bottom of the hat to make sure that it is long enough to fit around it before finishing off.
Join the two short ends of the band together and sew them together using the whip stitch. You now have a circular band.

Slip it over the bottom of the hat, and using the long tail we left and your tapestry needle, sew the bottom edge of the band to the last round of the hat. When finished, knot the ends to secure and neatly weave in all loose ends.

Pom Pom (using color B)
I made my pom pom using a pom pom maker. There are many different ways to make pom poms, including with cardboard or a dinner fork.

When completed, sew the pom pom to the top of the hat. To do this, pull one of the tails from the pom pom through the top center of the hat and then pull the second tail from the pom pom through the center of the hat one stitch over from the first tail. Pull the two tails tight, then tie them together on the inside of your hat to secure the pom pom to the hat. Cut the ends to finish.

You can now place the hat on your snowman! If you want to sew the hat to your snowman so that it doesn’t come off, use the long tail we left on the hat to do so. If not, then weave that tail into the underside of the hat.

Scarf (using color C)
Ch 40, starting in 2nd ch from hook, make 1 sc in each of the 39 chs (39 sts)

This is how long I made my scarf, but you can make yours as long or short as you like! You can also make it wider by using hdc sts instead of sc sts. Once you’re done, weave in the ends and tie it around the snowman’s neck.

Congratulations !!
