– White (403 Champagne White)
– Lilac (446 Pale Lilac)
> 3 mm crochet hook
> 2 small black beads for eyes
> tapestry and embroidery needle

Size: 4.5 cm / 1.8″ tall if made using the suggested materials
Construction: Worked in one piece starting from the top of the body to the frilly lower edge. Ears or ghost arms are sewn on at the end.

Ghost Body
Make in white.
Rnd 1: start 6sc in a magic ring [6]
Rnd 2: inc 6 times [12]
Rnd 3: (1sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
Rnd 4: (2sc, inc) repeat 6 times [24] {img 1}
Rnd 5-7: sc in all 24 st – 3 rounds
Rnd 8: (inv dec, 6sc) repeat 3 times [21]
Rnd 9: sc in all 21 st [21]
Rnd 10: (inv dec, 5sc) repeat 3 times [18]
Rnd 11: sc in 18 st [18] {img 2}
Rnd 12: (1sc, 3sc in next st, 1sc) repeat 6 times [30]
Rnd 13: (inv dec, 3sc in next st, inv dec) repeat 6 times [30] {img 3}
Fasten off, weave in the ends {img 4}.

Ghost Ears or Arms
Make 2 in white.
Work in rows, ch4 {img 5}.
Row 1: starting in second ch from hook, 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc [3] {img 6}
Fasten off, leave a tail for sewing.

Finishing
Sew the ears to the top of the body for a cat ghost, or above the frilly edge for a spooky ghost {img 7-9}. Sew on the eye beads {img 10}. Use a tail of lilac yarn {img 11, split the crochet thread or use embroidery thread} to embroider a nose and smile for a cat, or a mouth for a ghost {img 12}

Optional:
Turn the body inside out. Using a tapestry needle carefully thread the elastic through some of the back posts along round 11.
Turn the body right way out and put over your lollipop {img 12}.
Adjust the length of the elastic so that the body gathers under the lollipop, but is stretchy enough to slide off. Tie into a knot and trim the ends.
