Make a second head feather using the above instructions but only work up to round 5 so this one is a little shorter

Making Up

Before sewing on the whites of the eyes cut out circle in the red felt, cut the circle in half and place each half just under the eye whites and sew on using the red cotton, now sew the eye whites down onto the body. Lightly stuff the beak and sew onto the body directly under the middle of both eyes. Sew the head feathers next to each other onto the top centre of the head, these don’t need to be stuffed but you can if you wish to. For the two tail feathers make sure you fold them in half lengthways and sew edges together if you haven’t done this earlier. Then sew these onto the back bottom half of the birds’ body.

Making Up
Cut out two cirdes in the grey felt, a little bigger than the eye whites. Cut the cirdes a little bit so they now look like moon crescent shaped, this is so they fit around the safety eyes. Sew the felt down using grey cotton. Now sew on the white eyes you attached earlier around the edges onto the body. Using pins position the eyebrows at a slight angle just a little över the top of the vvhites of the eyes and sew them on around the edges, make sure you don’t sew down the left and right side of the eyebrows so they stick out. Firmly stuff the beak and sew on to the body directly under the middle of both eye vvhites. Position the belly under the beak, secure it with pins to keep its position and sew it around the edge onto the body. Stuff the head feather and sew it on the top centre of the head. Sew the head marking onto the top of the head just above the eyebrows and in the centre.
